Recently, the Cities of Muntinlupa and Marikina and the Municipality of Orion in Bataan were connected electronically with the Philippine Business Registry (PBR). In so doing, they have just empowered their constituents to lodge their applications for new businesses on-line with the DTI, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and their Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO).
Meanwhile, the registrants from the following LGUs can print the PBR application form and need not fill-up separate forms at the participating agencies, to wit:
| 1. Bacolod City, Negros Occidental | 11. Malaybalay City, Bukidnon | | 2. Batangas City, Batangas | 12. Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila | | 3. Bayawan City (Tulong), Negros Oriental | 13. Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila | | 4. Cabuyao, Laguna | 14. ParaƱaque City, Metro Manila | | 5. Calamba City, Laguna | 15. Quezon City, Metro Manila | | 6. Caloocan City, Metro Manila | 16. Rosales, Pangasinan | | 7. Candon City, Ilocos Sur | 17. Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat | | 8. Guiguinto, Bulacan | 18. Taguig City, Metro Manila | | 9. Iligan City, Lanao del Norte | 19. Tanauan, Leyte | | 10. Malabon City, Metro Manila | |
The said LGUs may advise the PBR registrants to submit additional documents, if any.
As for businesses located at other cities and municipalities, the PBR will still be useful for business name registration at the DTI and Tax Identification Number (TIN) validation or generation and Certificate of Registration (CoR) at the BIR. |
